Valentia Island is a delightful hidden gem situated off the coast of Kerry. The bridge connects the island to the mainland. And a car & passenger ferry operates from April to September, from Renard Point to Valentia’s fishing village of Knightstown.

Kerry Dark Sky Reserve is one of only three ‘Gold Tier’ Dark Sky reserves in the world. Valentia Island is lucky to be located in the middle of the reserve. 

With access to the Geokaun Cliffs day or night (we are open 24/7, 365 days a year!) you can star gaze to your hearts content.

The Wild Atlantic Way is a beautiful driving route that stretches from the very north of Donegal to West Cork – a total length of 2,600km – and showcases Ireland’s magnificent Atlantic coastline.
