Visitors can walk or drive to the summit, explore accessible short walking trails, visit the cliff viewing deck, and learn about local heritage from over 50 information panels covering history, wildlife, mythology, and the Skellig Islands.
There are 4 car parks at various points, including the summit. So, you don’t need to miss out on any views if you need to stay in your car. Please note if you want to see the Cliffs, there is a short 150m walk from the car park to the viewing deck. It’s a relatively flat walk. 2 of the shorter paths are wheelchair accessible.

Our Facilities
Geokaun Mountain & Cliffs is fully accessible by car with 4 car parks, including at the summit.
Universal accessibility is very important for us here at Geokaun, as we want people of all mobility levels to enjoy the views from the mountain. To address this we have 2 wheelchair accessible trails.
Dogs as always are welcome, though they must remain on lead.
Geokaun Mountain & Cliffs is open 24/7, 365 days a year.
With a ticket machine and rising bar in operation year round allowing access.
